Short version: we only collect your email so we can tell you when the shop is open. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, only if you say yes to cookies. That's the whole thing.
Darriston · Lda is a Portuguese company registered in Vila Nova de Famalicão. We make and sell premium men's shirts, launching Spring 2026. This privacy policy applies to darriston.com and any subdomain we operate.

On the pre-launch landing page, exactly two things:

We don't collect names, phone numbers, addresses, or payment details on the landing page. If we ask for those later — when the shop opens — this policy will be updated first.
We don't sell data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it for ad targeting.
When you submit your email to join the waitlist, we send it to Web3Forms, a form-handling service that forwards the submission to our team inbox. Web3Forms briefly stores the submission on their servers so they can deliver it. See Web3Forms' privacy policy.
Once the submission arrives in our inbox, we add your email to a plain text list. When the shop opens, we send you one email. After that, either you buy something (and become a customer, with a new relationship covered by a customer privacy policy) or you don't (and we remove you from the list within 60 days).
Legal basis: your consent, freely given by submitting the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@darriston.com — no explanation needed.
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the landing page — which sources bring the most traffic, whether the waitlist form is working, and how long people spend reading. This is aggregated data; it doesn't identify you personally.
Analytics only runs if you click Accept analytics on the cookie banner. If you click Decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics is disabled for your session. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which means we default to no tracking in the EEA/UK/Switzerland until you say yes.

We take security seriously but no service is entirely immune to breach. If something goes wrong that affects your data, we notify affected people within 72 hours as required by GDPR.
We may update this policy — most likely when the shop launches and we start handling orders. When we do, we bump the version number and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to everyone on the waitlist.
